Wow. We are now home from the Disney trip and have had the necessary few days of decompression and recovery. The kids had a fantastic, magical time. Every character and ride and show was a hit! The nights were rough though, as we were all wooped from the day... so there were indeed some tears. I was reminded of just how huge the parks were as I was pushing a double stroller and/or carrying a baby in a Bjorn. We're talking very huge, people. Much time was spent walking to attractions or walking to eat or walking to bus stop or riding on the bus. We kept remarking of how the time was flying by.
All things considered, the kids did great during the days with hardly a complaint...even while waiting in line for 30 minutes! I was super impressed. Just seeing their faces light up getting character autographs and riding the awesome rides was worth every penny! They especially loved the light parade and firework display.
I have so much I want to say about the ins and outs of a Disney World vacation with small children, so I will seperate them into smaller posts.
I am also working on the slide show and will post that later :)
