Some thoughts for Thursday

Well, like the rest of Lake Charles, the kids and I have had a cough (no fever) for 2 weeks now. Mad and I are getting better, while P is still sounding rough so we are headed to the germ infested 1st Ave. Childrens' Clinic. God help me now. I am sure he is fine, but 2 weeks is a long time I guess. Anyway this should be interesting because P despises the doctor, although ours is great, and freaks out every time we enter the exam room. Usually Mad goes into hyper big sister to the rescue mode and attempts to distract him with songs and dances...but this also distracts the doctor...and makes things all the more chaotic. It is a shame I cannot have me a wonderful glass of wine when I get home because I am SURE I'll need it.
In other news, we are getting a fence next week which will make my life so much easier with the chil'ren. I am feeling great and am gearing up for the big birth day, and I have to admit I am a little nostalgic about this. I do love birthing babies as it is the single most exciting, instantly gratifying and awe inspiring event I have ever experienced...but I am certain this is the last. Kids are a lot of work and 3 is our limit. I know we are so blessed, and I swear if I had unlimited funds...and patience I would have a dozen...maybe :)
