So we were assigned a personal research rep at AHS who was lucky enough to speak with me today. HA! She would not comment on much of anything except that all they would do is make the rigged up repair or give up the cash ($450 measly bucks). I asked her if AHS would be willing to sign a document stating that their work was warranted and that they would take responsibility for the impending electrical fire and or subsequent repairs...she said NO. She did admit that their repair man thought it to be a second rate repair and that he "would not do this to his own home" but refused to further comment on it. "The repair can be done so that is what AHS will do." I commented that that was utterly hilarious...she didn’t think it so funny. So I delivered a few carefully crafted words of wisdom and my personal opinion of their shoddy company and told Ms. H GOODDAY. We will be scheduling to have our AC repair guy replace the unit and collect AHS's $450 bucks (assuming they will actually send it) and move in and attempt to forget about this waste of a week and negativity overload.
Maybe we can move in next week! That would be a great birthday present to me :)
