It seems as though I am running through mud with a blindfold on these days. Hard. Tiring. Frustrating. Yet, oddly exhilarating. Unfortunately, I haven't had time to breath, let alone spend time calling mi amigos back. Sorry guys! Here's where we are: El pisos instalado (floors except tile), las paredes pintaron en la cocina y cuarto de ropa sucia (walls painted in kitchen and laundry room), nuevas puertas (new doors), y pintura exterior (exterior painted). Now we are waiting on kitchen cabinets and tile flooring before we can proceed to finish bathrooms and kitchen...and new windows should be next week.
I am super happy with my wood floors- BEAUTIFUL! And I have to say, paying people to install floor beats the hell out of doing it yourself. It took 6 dudes and 4 hours to install 1000 ft of wood...uh yeah that's awesome! (and cheap--email me if you want their number). I'll post pics later today :) if I get a chance. The upside to all of this is I have had a chance to brush up on my Spanish.

Haley, Sounds like things are going soo well! However...I am wondering how you have gutted and remodeled an entire house faster than it has taken some of my workers to do one project??? I cannot wait to see pictures!

Laurie & I passed by a while back and saw it painted. Looks great! We are moving back soon and are currently updating the townhouse we bought. Please send me the floor guys number. We have some wood floors on order.
