So, when an electrician that you’ve hired drills a hole into your water pipe under the slab and water spews all over the room and new ceilings, he has to fix it-right?! Well, I guess in his world the homeowners are partially to blame and should split the cost of repair....interesting. In my world (and in actual reality) I am NOT responsible for his mistakes to MY home.
I held back a laugh and politely declined his offer to split the plumber's bill with him. Way to be assertive Haley housewife.

Woop Woop!! I feel the same way when I go to get an oil change. I turn in to hard corp super independent Kate- "I don't want ANYTHING but an oil change. No wipers, no air filter change, just the oil change. Thank you." I feel so tough. They probably put sugar in my gas tank.
