Late night ramblings...

Things are going well with the house, however it seems the more I paint, the more I have to go. It's like the walls are multiplying. In a fit of "I need to move in yesterday" I busted up on Lisa Ln. at about 8PM the other night and broke out my borrowed (thanks Mr. Charlie) wet saw and tiled my hall bathroom floor.

I'm crazy like that.

I grouted tonight and then painted some more and just got home (12AM). Woohoo! I actually love to go work at night after I put the kids to bed. It is so quiet there, and I can just work and work and listen to music. It's my "me" time I guess.

In other news, my babies are growing so much! I had to go to storage to get Parker some bigger shoes I had bought. He is saying some new words: snack, ready, bird, yellow, blue, banana, cup, thank you, please, and slurred versions of "what are you doing." He is still a sweetie and loves him some mama...I think he has a tracking device on me sometimes the way he knows the second I enter the bathroom even when he is in another part of the house.

Madeline is a smarty pants and is into learning to spell and write. Her new thing is to type her name on the computer and print it out. She is so ready to move into her new pink room and sleep in her old bed (we are too since she is camped out on a pallet in our room). I look at her all the time and cannot believe she is my baby girl. I am going to miss these years when she is older and won't let me pick out her clothes and fix her hair...ugh. I am not going to think of it. She'll be wearing smocked dresses and bows until she's 15 right??!

There's hope for "bows" in the future if she's anything like her cousin. Megan broke out bows at the age of 20 and now has all of her soroity sisters wearing big bright bows. Smocked dresses haven't shown up yet, though who knows what she'll bring out next.

Haley, maybe we should come out with a line of smocked prom dresses. :)
