Ok, so here is what we are dealing with! When I look at this well loved home, I see a beautiful home where my kids will grow up! We are gonna drag this house into 2009 kicking and screaming...have faith people :)
I'm so proud of you guys for seeing the potential in this special family home. All the smart shopping and hard work will make it a beautiful house. All the love of your sweet family will make it a beautiful home. Enjoy.
Good Luck! Ben and I did the exact same thing as you and Donnie. We completely guttted the little farm house that Ben grew up in. It was terrible! Atleast you have decent walls to work with. As much as I love the fact that Ben and I share some great memories remodeling our current home, I was pretty worn out and refused to do it again. I admire your desire to take on such an amazing project!
Wow - I should have looked at the pics before I voted on how long this would take! Just kidding - sort of. I can't wait to see the "After". I know it will be fabulous and warm and wonderful to live in. You will be busy for awhile - but in a great way - don't you love when you can see the changes you make for the better? Good Luck!
