That's sassy!

The other day Madeline and I were watching the TV mid-day, when a commercial came on for toilet paper or detergent can't remember...the one with the cute white lab frolicking in the meadow. She loves it. Well the puppy lounges in a flower petal filled bathtub and says "feeling sexy." Madeline whipped around to confirm what she'd heard as she always does. She asked "setsy Mama?" I quickly corrected "No baby I think the puppy said "sassy." Whew... crisis averted! Not so fast. A commercial came on and again the word "sexy" came up in a reference to a dancing show with a scantily clad chick shaking her bonbon. I tried to switch the channel and change subject. OK maybe she forgot the whole thing. The next morning however, on the Today show Fergie and The Black Eyed Peas performed. Fergie was prancing around in a tiny outfit bouncing her goods all around and Madeline turns to me and says "Now that's sassy Mama." AHHHHHHHHHHH! Not only does she now recognize sexy when she sees it but she has confused the word sassy! Oh man I have my work cut out for me!
