Ok, got my new baby in today. Singer Futura is her name. This sewing/embroidery combo machine is my dream machine! (I saved up and splurged on it) It sews a ton of stitches, including decorative, and EMBROIDERS! Yes that's right I can now monogram! It connects to my PC and prints from there. I can download designs and fonts from the web and there is crazy software available to even turn clip art and photos into stitches. I have to admit I was very scared to open the box for fear I would have to do a lot of reading before beginning (those of you who know me know I am very impatient and do not like instructions). I literally unpacked, plugged it in and skimmed the manual and...voila-- sewed Parker's name in a matter of 20 minutes. I shed a little tear I was so happy. I could go on and on about this new machine, but I have to go monogram everything in my house....wait I still have to feed and bathe these two kids staring at me... ok well I'll play when they go down for bed.

Girl, We're on the same happy train. I just got a Brother combo machine today. Haven't test drove it yet, but can't wait. Let's get a little sweat shop going! ;) Happy sewing/monogramming.
