Last week before my doctor's appt. I had a small accident...well a big one. I was rushing around trying to get dressed and get a nursing session in before I went to the doctor and lost track of Parker. After feeding Ev he blew out his diaper as he always seems to do, so I stripped him, changed him and went to put his poopy clothes in the sink in laundry room bathroom. At that point I heard a crash in the back of the house and ran to find Parker emptying my night stand...and he had a poopy as well. Ugh. I changed him and cleaned up my room and rushed back to the now hysterical baby in the living room. I scooped Ev up and calmed him down and then went to the laundry room to check on the clothes in dryer, because yes, I was washing and folding clothes. I heard a water sound. Hmmm I hoped the washer was not broken or something...NOooo! I had left the sink running stopped up with the poopy clothes! It had been almost 45 minutes! The entire bathroom, closet, hall, part of the laundry room and GARAGE was flooded.
OMG.
My sheet rock! My new molding! Oh God Nooooo!
All in the name of poop.
I soaked it up with every towel in the house and called the in-laws who always know what to do. They came to the rescue with a wet vac and an industrial strength fan and cleaned it up for me while I rushed to the doctor's appt. Needless to say I enjoyed the peaceful waiting room and the uninterrupted talk with the doctor.

That's nuts! I'm sure because you all acted swiftly and promptly the sheet rock and molding should be ok (I'm hoping!). What a rotten day!
it's amazing what kind of poop we get into as moms.
