Around here

We have been having fun around here at the Broussard abode. Madeline has been taking swimming lessons, and has gotten more comfortable in the water, specifically putting her head under water. She is not ready for the swim team by any means, but I am just glad she is making basic progress like floating and kicking and gliding. Parker is talking more everyday and his latest obsession (taking cues from daddy) is pointing out Jeeps anywhere and everywhere as we drive around town. I mean Jeeps near and far, parked or moving. He yells out "JEEP!" and most of the time we have to search to find it, but it is always there. I'm doing great as far as the pregnancy goes; I'm 17.5 weeks and counting. My belly has finally poked out, so I'm feeling legit. Most days I forget I'm even pregnant--it is really going by fast :-) We are supposedly leaving for Orange Beach this weekend...although it's likely the beach will be closed due to the oil spill...short of a miraculous northerly wind.
