Today we went to Sam Houston State Park and played for a while until it became very cloudy and chilly. The kids had fun walking around and feeding the ducks, but I was a mean mom and wouldn't let them play in the playground because there were like a hundred big kids in there...plus it is sandy. I really was not feeling the sand. Anyway, we all took a snoozer when we got home and thoroughly enjoyed the dark, rainy weather!
When the kids finally got up I pulled out the tent complex they got for Christmas (they had totally forgotten about it since it went into hiding shortly after). I also took advantage of the furniture free living room :)It was so fun for them--they actually played together nicely.
Parker is a ham and poses saying "cheeeese." He is a chatter box these days talking like crazy. He studies our words and parrots them. He is getting so big- 29 lbs and 31 inches tall!
