OK, so the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel has dimmed...The kitchen cabinets have major problems. The oven cabinet is too small to house our oven (not our fault-they ordered wrong size). So that means we have to wait about 3 weeks for that to be completed..which involves uninstalling the too small cabinet, busting out finished floor tile and wall trim to accommodate the new, larger cabinet. Also, the replacement doors keep coming in cracked- which makes me realize just how many dollars and days Lowes and Diamond Cabinets have wasted.
It's a lot.
I am still hopeful to move in before that is done because I can live without an oven for a few weeks :) And it looks like D and I will be sanding walls since our drywall contractor refused to fix them...he says we are being "nit picky"...wow. As a side note: they sprayed wall texture all over every single wall in our home--which we explicitly said we did NOT want and they did sand it off, but not well. Whatever..we are almost done and I pray that light at the end of the tunnel will shine brighter in the days to come :)

yikes Haley...I hope the light gets brighter for you soon! We are seriously considering a major renovation, so we may need to talk...about who you used and liked/didn't like, etc...where is your house, by the way?
I know I keep saying this, but hang in there! Nit Picky is important when it is your home.
