Solo Sleeper

Madeline is definitely NOT meant to share a room with anyone! Times are rough here at the "Barker Hotel" during the night. My kids have always been the perfect lil' sleepers until we stuck them in a room together. Honestly I don't know how people do this. They can't be put to bed at the same time because they begin talking, fussing or laughing at each other, and inevitably during the night one accidentally wakes the other up and all hell breaks loose. And by 'hell breaking loose' I mean Madeline flying out of the room and down the hall screaming like she has been attacked, fussing and fuming about how Parker has awakened her and that she definitely does NOT want to sleep in that room. Then poor Parker freaks out because she has scared him half to death. Oh how I dream of the day we move into our house and they have their own rooms! I know that sounds so spoiled, but I really want to sleep....peacefully.

So funny. You have a knack for writing, Haley. I felt like I was right there. :)

I wish I had some advice. I am lucky to have kids that sleep together. Well my boys do. We often go to bed in shifts though. Don't worry, it will all be worth it.
