What Carpet?

Ok, so I know the latest trend in flooring is to put wood floors in bedrooms, but I'm not buying it...literally. I want soft cushy goodness on my bedroom floors. I cannot decide what to choose. Please help me out and leave me a comment on your carpet; good or bad, it will help me make a decision :) I don't want to make a mistake and choose something that will not wear well. The main problem for me is shaggy vs short pile...cut and loop vs berber...aaahhh

I too, love carpeting in the bedrooms.....but we removed all ours b/c of rotten allergies. It helped tremendously....but I sure do miss the carpet. Sorry, can't offer much help but I know you'll pick something wonderful.

I wish i had carpet in my bedroom. I can't stand getting into bed with yuckies on my feet. I love the carpet in the kiddos bedrooms. I think it is frizee(spell?). You'll have to come and take a closer look. It seems to hold up great and you can't see any stains on it.because of the specks of color.

I guess I have the same as Age. It is that shag type with no loops. It is also the color of dirt which works well. I am really happy with it. I wish I had it in my bedroom too. It just has a comfy feel.

One of my aunts about 2 weeks ago was looking to replace carpet in her home, the salesmen told her it is all about the padding underneath the carpet for true support and comfort over the life of it. Hope that helps. Good luck!

Our carpet in this new/not new house is so cushion-y! I think burber (sp?) is best for cleanliness and allergies, but it's not the soft goodness that we love sinking our toes into. I say GET THE CARPET!!! GET THICK PADDING, and really? People pretend to not want carpet in their houses for resale, but I think they are just trying to be cool. Who doesn't love carpet? Hey what's your email? Number? Our little men need to play together!! We have a great park in this neighborhood... great to get out when the moving boxes pile up!
