Awesome weekend

We had a great weekend! We went to the Autism Awareness Walk for Hope in Lafayette early Sat. morning with Donnie's family to support his godchild Micah and had a wonderful time. (Our"team" all wore yellow bandannas) They had so many people and sponsors; it was really a great fundraiser and awareness event. Madeline had so much fun and we so enjoyed our time with family. The weather was so beautiful we just decided to go to New Orleans to surprise my sister at the Mid City Art Market. We loved seeing all of the artists and as always loved New Orleans! Then on the way back we just had to stop in Baton Rouge to go shopping, eating and driving by our old house and neighborhood...VERY bitter sweet. I miss Baton Rouge and our life there! Our kiddos are so good about going with the flow--not one tear or tantrum and a big bonus: they both slept in the car on the way home :)
