Christmas was eventful this year. It was Parker's first Christmas, and Madeline had so much fun at all the family gatherings. She still sings Christmas songs constantly, and I think she will be for some time. I must admit that Madeline was a bit jaded with all the gifts and I couldn't help thinking of all the children who have nothing every time Mad threw a gift over her shoulder. I wish she could be old enough to understand what being thankful really is, and that Christmas is not about how many gifts you open, but about Jesus our Savior being born. I know, I know, she is only two, her"present hungry" behavior is normal, and the frenzy of swirling wrapping paper is fun and exciting...I just realized what I want to focus on as they get older and can understand. Anyway, I love Christmas and all in all it was wonderful. Here are the few pics Donnie (thank goodness) took.
